A Message from the Friends of the Library
Due to building maintenance being performed in the Friends’ storage room,
donations cannot be accepted for the next few weeks.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
We hope that you can save your donations until we resume —
they are important to us! Thank you!
The Friends of the Bloomfield Public Libraries gratefully accept books and media donations for our book sales. Donations can be dropped off at the Prosser Public Library Children’s Room Circulation Desk. Donations are limited to two boxes/bags per day. Receipts for tax donations are available.
The Friends welcome donations of the following materials:
- Children’s books for all ages, hardcover and paperback
- DVDs, music CDs, and audio books on CD
- Fiction hardcover and paperback – recent
Please, nothing over 10 years old, unless it’s a classic
- Nonfiction, all topics
All items should be clean and in good condition.
Please do not bring items with dirt, water damage, mildew, or underlining,
as they are unsellable. We suggest that you recycle these items instead.
The Friends do not accept:
- Cassettes and VHS videos
- Professional books including legal, medical, financial
- Computer manuals
- Outdated Atlases
- Readers Digest condensed books
