How it Works
-
Bloomfield
residents with a
valid library
card will need
to complete a
one-time setup
process, during
which you will
be creating TWO
accounts:
-
Account #1:
Library
Collection
Validates you as
an active
Bloomfield
library card
holder and gives
you access to
the library's
digital magazine
collection. You
will use this
account to
borrow magazines
from the
library, and
will need to
access this
account through
a web browser,
not the Zino
app.
-
Account #2:
Zinio Account
Creates a
personal Zinio
account which
enables you to
read and manage
your magazine
issues on your
computer or
mobile device.
When you click
on a magazine in
the library
collection
(Account #1), it
will open a new
tab and prompt
you to
create/log in to
your Zinio
account. To add
magazines titles
to your Zinio
account, click
the "Return to
Library
Collection" tab
and select a
magazine, which
automatically
gets added to
your Zinio
account.
-
the Zinio Patron
User Guide to learn more
about
how Zinio
works - highly
recommended for
first-time users.
-
You will be able
to check out as
many magazines
as you wish and
keep them in
your personal Zinio account
(Account #2) for
as long as you
wish.
-
In your Zinio
account, click
on a magazine
and the Zinio
digital magazine
reader will open
automatically on
your computer,
or you may
download the
Zinio app for
iPad, iPhone,
Android, Kindle
Fire (click
here for
information on
Kindle Fire app),
and Blackberry
Playbook to read
magazine content
on a mobile
device.

How it Works
-
Freading E-Books

need your
library card
number to log

-
Each patron
receives 5
