Small Talk

Mondays, 10:00-11:30 AM

Drop in and play! Arrive anytime between 10-11, when we will have free play session filled with toys and conversation. At 11:00 we will clean up the toys and gather together for a short program of stories, songs, and rhymes. For newborn through school-aged children and their parents or caregivers. No registration required.

Toddler Time

In this series held on selected Fridays at the Prosser Public Library, children ages 12-30 months are invited to come with their caregivers. Participate in our playful activities and music designed to enhance the development of a toddler's language skills. Please register.

(Baby Bounce for children ages 4-12 months, will be held at 11:00 AM on the same days as Toddler Time.)

Fridays, 11:00-11:30 AM

August 2, 9, 16, 23

In this series held on selected Fridays at the Prosser Public Library, children ages 4-12 months are invited to come with their caregivers. Participate in bouncing, wiggling, and clapping to playful songs and rhymes designed to  develop an infant's language skills. Please register.

(Toddler Time for children ages 12-30 months, will be held at 10:15 AM on the same days as Baby Bounce.)
 


Fossil Factory

Wednesday, July 3, 1:00 PM

Children entering grades 3-6 are invited to join presenters from the Children's Museum to unearth a small fossil that they will get to take home. They will also learn how fossils form and will get to examine some of the bony specimens from the museum. Please register.
 


Hampstead Stage presents The Secret Garden

Monday, July 8, 6:30-8:00 PM

Actors from the Hampstead Stage company will present a dramatic version of the classic tale by Frances Hodgson Burnett - a story of hope, healing, and friendship. For all ages. Please register.

Readers in grades 7 and up are invited to register for the Teen Book Board! Our meetings are once a month, for an hour. The first part of each meeting will be devoted to nibbling snacks, playing games, and chatting with other avid readers about books. The second part of each meeting will be devoted to helping the library through creative community service. Like to read? Looking for community service hours? Join the Teen Book Board! Ask a Teenager! Teen Tech Volunteers


Looking for community service hours? Become a teen tech volunteer! We are looking for high school students with strong command of technology to help teach basic technology skills to adults. Tutoring topics will include web navigation, Facebook, e-mail, and smartphone basics.
